Situated near the Port de Sant Miguel on the north of Ibiza. Beach-lovers can enjoy serene walk along the coastline to Cala De Sa Ferradura before settling in a spot on either side of Sa Ferradura beach.

This relatively untouched, natural beach is purely for the peaceful with very few amenities or facilities, but is popular with locals and romantics seeking a quiet getaway. Cala de Sa Ferradura is rarely busy and utterly breath-taking.

Relax and soak up the sun as you sunbathe under the blue skies, wade out into the shallow and rock-filled shores to explore the crystal clear waters, or meander through the remote coast-line countryside, taking in the surroundings. Unfortunately, due to its remote location and disassociation with the mainland, Cala de Sa Ferradura is not easily wheelchair accessible and has no facilities.

The bay is named after its shape – ‘Ferradura’, simply meaning ‘horseshoe’ in Catalan. Originally the peninsular was a small island, the connecting beach being man-made.

The island offers a choice of two swimming pools – a 23 metre infinity pool surrounded by sun loungers and a Laguna pool set amidst the tropical gardens. Cala de Sa Ferradura is ideal for a picnic as there is no bar on restaurant, however a short stroll to the Port de Sant Miguel opens up a world of bars, restaurants and shops.

Located in the left the Port de Sant Miguel, off the north coast of the Ibiza, this beach is approximately a 20 minute walk from the centre of the port. There is a country road, however there is restricted use as it is an access road to the private island so some walking is required.
