Ibiza – the white isle

THE PROVINCES

Ibiza is split into municipalities, most with main towns and small villages surrounded by vast areas of countryside and stunning coastline. The municipality Ibiza Town (Vila d'Eivissa) includes the main town, the stunning UNESCO Heritage site of Dalt Vila, multiple marinas, Talamanca and other surrounding villages. San José (Sant Josep de sa Talaia) is located on the south of the island and is made up of the towns of Sant Agustí, Sant Josep, es Cubells, Sant Jordi and Sant Francesc and Playa d’en Bossa. Santa Eulalia del Río (Santa Eulària des Riu) is located on the east of the island and is made up of the villages of Sant Carles, Santa Gertrudis, Jesús, Puig d'en Valls and the town of the same name, Santa Eulària. San Antonio Abad (Sant Antoni de Portmany) is located in the west of the island and includes the towns of San Antonio, San Rafel, Santa Agnès and Sant Mateu. San Juan Bautista (Sant Joan de Labritja) is located in the northern part of the island distributed among the four parishes that comprise of Sant Joan, San Miguel, Sant Vicent and Sant Llorenç.
